Our Story

Joy in the Dawn was birthed after owner Dawn went through a very difficult season starting in 2021 that she was not anticipating. She had no idea what was next and at times fear and anxiety took over. But after this long, hard season she started to heal and see the light at the end of the tunnel again and with a dream in her heart to create beauty from ashes, Joy in the Dawn was born. The name of the company is inspired by the scripture Psalm 30:5 that says "Weeping may last for the night, but joy comes in the morning." And with that, Joy in the Dawn Boutique opened it's doors in December 2022. 

At Joy in the Dawn we believe that every day is a gift and joy is a choice. Gratitude changes everything. It is Dawn's genuine desire to love well and inspire joy in others on a daily basis. Her staff is referred to as the Sunshine Team as their goal is to inspire smiles & hope each day!

Dawn, our owner/CEO, has carefully curated this boutique with that in mind! God gave her the purpose and passion for the business which puts so many of Dawn's favorite things plus items that speak to life's journey in one place to share with you. She hopes to spark joy in everyone she meets along with helping you do the same. Our unique gift and home items, accessories and clothing for the whole family are one way to share some of that joy. Dawn hopes you find unique, quality items you can feel good about while sharing a smile or two with others! 

Most of the brands Joy in the Dawn carries are local Tennessee businesses that she personally knows or other small brands that she has enjoyed herself over the years. Dawn will eventually be offering custom designs on tees and more that she designs as well!
